As technology has progressed so has the design world with digital, computer and new media art becoming increasingly popular. new software has allowed anyone to create works of art from the comfort of thier own home out of any proffesional enviroment. whilst this is by all means a step forward, today we are often surrounded by over the top, needless and sometimes unattractive design throughout media, promotion, production etc. But sometimes less is more. This brief asks you to explore, investigate and document your surroundings at home, in the city, or on a broader scale. You can also think about works of art that stimulate or inspire you and how you may approach these within a different format.

The final piece should respond to your subject without losing narrative or content. It should ultimately improve or transform the design/work. think about changing the media format or the enviroment in which it is currently present.
